Sydney Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2021

In November, Holloway Group Managing Director Matthew Holloway was named as a finalist at the Sydney Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

Held across Australia, each year the Young Entrepreneur Awards aim to uncover the nation's top business minds and put them in the spotlight. 

 

Recognised in the Manufacturing, Wholesale and Distribution category, and selected by a panel from Business News Australia, this nomination is testament to Matthew's vison, drive and business acumen, as seen through the exponential growth of Holloway Group in recent years.

HIA-CSR Hunter Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards 2021

Biax, the future of residential foundations is a key cornerstone in the Holloway Group portfolio of brands. Made from 100% recycled post-industrial plastic, Biax Foundations are sustainable, lightweight and easy to install, and are bringing change - for the better - to the building industry.

This year, Biax was named as a finalist at the HIA-CSR Hunter Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards within the Product Innovation category. Making the top three from a record number of entries, while Biax didn't take home the top prize at the event, it's a momentous achievement for an Australian innovation and Biax is already making waves in the building industry.

Good Design Awards 2021

Geohex was named as an Award Winner at the 2021 Australian Good Design Awards in the Product Design category, during the 2021 Australian Good Design Week (October 11 - 15).

Geohex is a uniquely Australian innovation that recycles polypropylene into a ground stabilisation and soil erosion solution that's affordable, long-lasting and easy to install. 

The Good Design Awards jury commented "The designers should be commended on the use of recycled materials and erosion controls. Combining an easy installation with a unique connection system has resulted in great commercial success. Overall, a standout project that ticks all the boxes for good design in its category.
